Hello! I'm one of the Homestuck fans you talked to today at the caf, and I found your Tumblr through the Jane album cover art you did. I've actually seen your stuff floating around my dash before and I gotta say your illustrations are incredible! The Deadmau5 one you made with the pink background has got to be one of my favorites. I also liked your album cover art for Dirk a long time ago too. But yeah, just wanted to let you know I love your stuff, Homestuck or otherwise. <3

my friend, don’t worry. that piece isn’t supposed to be read as a “lol daft punk is ded” thing. I’m a huge fan of them, and this is a criticism of how Deadmau5 has taken a lot of his image and style from the masters, and in the end it’s sort of trampling them because of how popular Deadmau5 has gotten, and i don’t like that.
hope that clears this up. i get a lot of hate mail for this when i am on your side haha
